I'm working with my PD nurse to bring my Kt/V up. At last check it was somewhere around 1.65, I think, and we want to bring it up to 2.0. So I'm adding a manual exchange with a 4-hour dwell in the evening. I've been looking at the options on my new Liberty cycler, and I'm thinking it might be better and easier to use the PD+ mode with a pause, rather than a manual fill and CCPD overnight. However, my cycler manual is missing most of the pages in the treatment section, so I don't really know how the pauses work in the process of the cycles.
Does anyone use pauses on a Liberty cycler? How does it work?
Also, I found the "secret" area of the cycler...
if you hold down the two arrow buttons, it'll ask for a password. I assume these are tech options or something. Anyone know anything about this?
