Hello from Louisiana
«

Just found this site when I was researching some info on side effects from some new medicine. I am 49 years old, married with 2 children and living on dialysis for two years. I have as most everyone here has gone through the trials and tribulations of living on dialysis so I wont go into any details with this thread. I have read some of the post and I like what I see, people helping others that might be scared, needing some information or just an ear and consoling.
Look forward to talking with y'all soon

Hi, Mark.
I found this site in a similar way. I can't tell you how often having this resource has helped me through tough times.
Welcome to the family!

Mark,
I am glad that you joined the group. I wish that Nephrologists or Social workers or somebody was required to inform all dialysis patients or future dialysis patients about this site. It is the BEST!
I am sure if you were googling a new med that several members here have already tried it and can provide more reliable personal information than you would find anywhere else.
