I hate mondays!

« on: September 14, 2006, 02:43:01 AM »

Hi, my name is Aarron, and yes my name is on purpose.

I am 26 and I have been on dialysis (of one form or another) since I was about 8.

Up until I was 14 I mixed transplants and CAPD (often at the same time...) until 1994 when I developed
Sclerosing Encapsulating Peritonitis. At that point the docs put me on haemo, which has been pretty excellent
health- and lifestyle-wise.

I currently dialyse in a self-care unit with newbies still in training.

Thats the nutshell version, happy to answer questions, and thanks for the site!

Aarroonn.....wait that's not right!   ???

Welcome to our site.  We have others here about your age who are childhood patients.  You were robbed of a childhood.  Are you on the transplant list again??  You could go to our Transplant Stories section and tell us your saga.  You will like this site.  Especially the arcade part.  Please start with the Site Rules and Regulations in the Introduction section.

Welcome Aarron! I knew an Aaron once (notice his name is spelled differently though) who used to say his name was spelled "Double A Ron!" but I can't do that with your name :(

Anyway,  :welcomesign; :welcomesign; :welcomesign; Glad you are here!!
