The transplant coordinator said she would call at 5:00 with an update, either head in for the transplant,or go eat dinner.  I am hungry, anxious and irritated.

This is the fourth donor to get this far in the process.  They give me a phone number to call that ends up in voice mail.

I fracken hate this crap.

Vent over.  Thank you for your attention.

I am sorry, it's just not right to have you wait without giving you a number where you can reach her. I don't blame you for being upset. And hungry too! I hope you hear something soon.

mate I am swearing so loud the people in the building next door can hear!

I'm so sorry yet another hope is dashed....

I suppose though, you have a reason that makes some sort of reasonable sense.

You MUSt be so bloody close given all the calls you have had lately!!

My fingers are still crossed....

I am one of those people who hate when people say "It could be worse" but I do want mention that there are so many people who will never get a call - for years - if ever. So I am going to keep positive throughts that your opportunity is very close and all of this is a practice of patience.
I would still ask for a number where you can check in with the transplant coordinator.
It's cruel to give you a time deadline and then not follow up with you.
Best of luck to you!  :cuddle;

Wallyz, I am sure the neighbors are wondering why this normally sweet spoken person is cursing up a storm right now!!  I cannot begin to comprehend how frustrated you are.  Now that I am done swearing, I will start praying that the next call is the REAL deal!!  :cuddle;
