I have been very lucky to be a patient at Davita Center Memorial... They have been very good to me so far. (But is has only been 1 week)... the PCT, RN and even the Dietician have all been really nice to me... I got a nice Davita Canvas bag from the Social Worker with a Blanket, Exercise ball, towel, and a pillow.  I thought that was cool since I was not expecting it. So Far So good for me and I hope that they keep it up...  :flower;

What is a PCT?  Did I get one?  I DID NOT get a towel. But I did get the other stuff and some headphones (cheapy ones but they work find for the TV.

Glad it is working out so well for you.  I knew you'd be a big hit with them.

Thanks for the support DW I am not sure where i would be without all the kindness.. I think if I would have ended up in a bad center or with technicians with Attitude I would not like it as much as i do.... the PCT= Patient Care Technician

 :2thumbsup;

Glad to hear you are happy with your center.  I think this has to make a big differnce in how you accept your treatment.

May you continue to be very happy there.

Definately Paul I think that what DW said in a post is correct.. If your nice to them they are nice to you... They have a job to do and as long as they do that i am fine...  I hope that when you start your as lucky as I have been.

THx Tinah

I will be doing homePD.  I have spoken with the main person at the wellbound center i will be using.  We seem to have hit it off and once she is back from Alaska (she on holidays) we will meet up and she will start training me on the cycler.  I plan on starting dialysis hopefully by July if not a little sooner.
