The past week and a half had me replacing my fridge then yesterday the dryer quit spinning
and today I was driving to work and I felt the power leave my car and it died and stranded
me on the side of the road in the rain.  Was told it is probably the timing chain. Now have
to decide whether to repair it or replace it.  Has 91,000 miles.  Wanted to get a lot more
than that out of it.  Hate looking for cars and dealing with car salespeople.  Dryer
repairman is coming tomorrow.  no transportation. :(   just venting tonight.

Going through life tied to a chair!

Just get the old car fixed.  You don't have to buy a new one yet.  Good to have a working dryer.  After it is fixed, put in a blanket and when it is all warm take it out and go cuddle up on the couch with it.  With one of these...   :wine;

I would fix the car if nothing else broke. Hard these days too replace with anything better inexpensively. 90000 miles these days is low depending how old the car is but I've been looking around and cars have 140000 miles on them and they still sell for 8 or 9 thousand dollars and then your just buying someone else's problem. At least with your car you know what you have. Unless your buying new. just my  :twocents; worth  Hope today things look better.

Well, today is a new day.
Waiting for the dryer repairman.
Oldest son loves to look at cars, etc.  Maybe will send him out on a search mission
and see if there's anything interesting out there. Before I decide what to do.
Getting estimate today I think.  Said it is possible because I was moving when
it went out that it caused other problem.  We'll see.  Never want to buy a brand new
car again, so overpriced.
Hope you all have a good day.

Sorry you have been having a bad week! Sounds like how my week was when I still had my car and someone ran into it and totalled it and then I got my bicycle stolen. I still don't have a car (3 years later) because I can't afford to get even an old one on the road (even though I have tried!!) and my friends at my work were nice enough to buy me a new bike so at least I have that.

I wish I could say a bunch of us will get together and get you a car but you know we aren't doing that. I just wish your week would get better!  :grouphug;

I have noticed it seems when things go bad .. they ALL go bad! But that means .. when things start going good again .. they should ALL go good right?  :2thumbsup;

I just thought of something.  You know how bad things come in 3's?  Well, there's your 3 (fridge, dryer, car).  So now it's onward and upward.   ;D

Well the dryer is repaired. That is good thing.
Car, I'm still thinking about and went out and looked a little last night.
Saw one possibility.
Anyway, since I had no transportation and had repairman coming I got into
cleaning and really got a lot done.  And that is a good thing.
