Hi, i'm Dave, from Northern Ireland. Been 'lurking' for quite a while getting lots of hints and tips.

Had a double nephrectomy last November due to PKD. Glad to get rid of the things i can tell you! This was necessary as we are planning for a live donor transplant from my wonderful sister at the start of June.

I have struggled since then with the fluid restrictions and low energy, but have survived.

Anyway, hi to everyone  :thumbup;

 :welcomesign; Dave. We are so glad that you came out of lurking. We are a wonderful group and as you know, loaded with information and even more support. Please keep us updated on you journey and God bless your sister for being your donor. June will be here before you know it. Post often.  :cuddle;
