My two beautifull granddaughters

WWW
« on: April 20, 2009, 04:17:55 PM »

We have a small camper that we can pull behind our pickup (We did buy a bigger truck to be able to haul hundreds of pounds of dialysis supplies!!).

If I can figure out how to upload a picture, I will. It is somewhat cramped, but allows us to get around when we have the time.

I would love to hear other folks' stories about camping. I have read the threads on this topic so far.

Any new stories?

Aleta
PS. Got the pictures attached. Now THAT wasn't so hard!

We camp with a 1974 HI LO camper with the O-HI-LO club from May until October ever year.  Our camper goes "up" on hydraulics.  We have a great time.  There is a toilet in the camper so I just drain my dialysis in there like I would if I were home.  It's all wrapped up nice and comfy.  Like you said...you have to have space to haul the supplies...we were gone for 8 days to Louisiana from Ohio and didn't have any problems.  I always take "extra" so I'm safe not sorry.

I love that you can go camping - thanks for showing how. Pictures are great!
You reminded me of this other thread http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=12484.0 for those who hadn't seen it.
