American Kidney Fund Launches Podcast Series03/17/2009
ROCKVILLE, Md.—The American Kidney Fund has launched a kidney health podcast series along with a new podcast Web page.
The podcast series will cover a wide variety of topics relating to kidney health, including preventing chronic kidney disease and understanding the financial impact of kidney disease, according to the AKF.
Listeners can access the podcasts online or download them to an MP3 player or personal computer, according to the AKF. The page also contains downloadable notes, which provide additional information and details on each featured topic.

The premiere podcast, “An Overview of Chronic Kidney Disease,” is an interview with LaVarne A. Burton is now available on the American Kidney Fund Web site. This podcast includes information about kidney function, general information about chronic kidney disease, and prevention and health tips.
