Mistakes hooking up cycler

Wife's been doing PD for about four months now.
So we had our first good mistake last night - a couple times either me or my wife (I prepare her stuff sometimes) have forgotten to unclamp a line, but the machine catches that when it primes or whatever, no big deal. Last night my wife mixed up the connections, and hooked up the "red" tube (which should be attached to the bag on the heater) to the bag that was sitting on the table top. Luckily it's not that cold in our house, and the box had been sitting in the house, not the garage (where we keep the supplies) but she still got a pretty good dose of 60-degree or so solution. Needless to say, she was not a happy camper.

Just another example how different bodies tolerate different things.  One night I was ready to do my 10 pm exchange and the electricity failed.  Yikes, no way to heat the dialysate, but I bravely went ahead and did the exchange with no problem.  I never heated the dialysate after that.  It's probably a good thing I can tolerate the cold dialysate as I do a lot of traveling and have to do the exchanges in places where there is no electricity.

Hope she's feeling ok now. 

P.S. After 5 years I still sometimes wonder what I'm doing and occasionally mess up!!!
