So- after having a sinus infection that put me on hold on the UNOS transplant list, I got a CT scan done of my Sinuses.  I have  a polyp in my left maxillary sinus that keeps it form draining properly.  They are going t o take it out Tuesday, and straighten out my septum so that i have two clear sinuses and nasal passageways.  It's usually an outpatient procedure, but I will be staying overnight because they don't want me to dialyze at home.    I am trying to talk them into letting me dialyze overnight in the hospital for 6-7 hours, bt I think they're gonna wait  and do a fast 4 hour in the morning.

The reason is that I use a lot of heparin, and the worst side effect of the sinus surgery is uncontrolled bleeding.

Whee! Fun!  Please keep me in your thoughts, and cross your fingers that I get the call for the SKP while I'm in the hospital, so I recover from everything at once.

All the surgeries at once---wouldn't that be nice!  I'll pray for that!   If you don't get the call, I will still pray for good recovery from the sinus surgery.  Hope it goes well and you aren't in pain.   :grouphug;

Heh- getting ready for my sinus surgery tomorrow- guess who calls.

Thats right I have an offer.

I turned it down, he's got an infection that may not get under control, so I;'m not gonna cancel my surgery for a long shot.
