Just got called again.  I'm on my way to Tulane to get a kidney - hopefully there will be no problems today.  I'm first on the list this time.

Please pray for me, the other possible recipients, and the donor's family.

Thanks for the prayers everyone.

But............................, false alarm # 2.  The kidney was not viable, again.  At least this time I only had to wait 14 hours to find out and didn't have to sleep at the hospital.

Maybe next week? ::)

3 times a charm???? :P

I simply cannot imagine the frustration AND the excitement you must be feeling!  To know you are at the top of the list and although you have received two disappointing "calls", you KNOW there will be another one coming!

I'm sorry for your frustration - that is to be expected.  But I am excited for your next call!  I can't wait!    :yahoo;

Well, I've been waiting for this kidney for going on 21 years (diagnosed with PKD 21 years ago), and I've always had a dark sense of humor.  I'm trying my best to remain calm.
