I believe it's just Bruce playing halftime;  I didn't know about the 3-D commercials, so I'm glad I read this. I  remember when I was a kid they had a 3-D halftime show.

News story:

Super Bowl casts audience for halftime show!
Posted By: Erica Pitzi     1 day ago

Tampa, Florida - 2,000 Bruce Springsteen fans will be dancing on the field at Super Bowl 43's halftime show.

A show that is completely choreographed from the moment the audience runs onto the field.

All cast members are volunteers who won their spot on the turf by being the first of 2,000 to sign up online.

Sunday was the first rehearsal for the "audience" at Jefferson High School in Tampa.

There were diehard Boss fans, like Robert Hamilton of Orlando, who said, "I'm the leader of the Bruce Tramps. This collective group of people has seen Bruce Springsteen in excess of a hundred times easily."

There were people who just love the idea of being a part of the Super Bowl magic, like Tampa teacher Allison Velez, who said, "How often do you get chosen to dance with 2,000 people for Bruce Springsteen, for the Super Bowl, in Tampa?!"

Fans came from all over Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and even Australia!

"It's about twenty hours on the plane to get here but it's well worth it!" said Rachel Hazel of Australia.

As fun as it is to be chosen for the show, there is still work to be done.

"We'll actually stage them where they stand, kind of like getting your seats for the concert. They'll know how to run on the field and run off the field," said halftime show casting director Shawn Kelly.

Group by group, they organized the masses on the field that was covered in small orange cones. Some of the cones marked where to stand while others were obstacles to avoid. "Like things that are trip hazards, from a speaker stack to a lighting tower to a cameraman," said Kelly.

The choreography was a surprise to most fans. "We saw the cones and thought, 'What are those about?' I figured we just run out and go ahhh!" said Hazel.

No, there will be none of that. Instead, it will be more like organized chaos. Whatever it is, once these Boss-lovers get out there, it is still a concert.

With such a famous front man, there is no doubt every fan wants to hear his or her favorite song.

"Born in the USA! Even though we weren't, it's such a cool song," said Hazel.

The Americans agreed.

Good article Okarol.
Should be a good show. Although the Boss is far from my first choice.

Sluff that would get membership to rise significantly :2thumbsup;

Can anyone tell me where to get the 3D glasses?

Half-time show, Bruce: I don't understand what this topic is about. Doesn't everyone watch the Puppy Bowl?
