Good news!  Seriously, I was worried about you going back to work so soon.  I am very relieved, and - I must say - inspired.  You're pretty tough!

Our supervisor in the dialysis unit took my bandages off when she was hooking me up.  she listened and it is humming nicely.  i am not looking forward to them using the new section - new sections hurt like the dickens and I gave up lidocaine a long time ago.
They have been using a very small section of my graft for dialysis and at one point were using the smaller needles.

BE brave sweetie. It will hurt for awhile until your skin and brain get used to the new area.  The first time someone hit the new area on the graft I cried. I know how you feel.  :flower; :flower;

The surgeon said they could start using the new area after 3 weeks.  The supervisor asked me yesterday if the three weeks were'nt up as yet.  It will be up tomorrow, but will I be telling.........?

Well, my supervisor used the new area yesterday at dialysis.  Thankfully she went back to a pink needle - don't even remember when I had that before.  That section was JAMMING!!!  Since they have been using the venous section for both needles, it has been a long time since I saw the blood pulsating like that!
I saw the doctor a few days ago and she was justly very pleased at how everything turned out.
Hopefully, it will be a while before I need to have anything done with my graft again.
