Goofynina and Epoman - Gone But Not Forgotten

WWW
« on: December 13, 2008, 09:47:15 AM »

When I was working at the Tourist Board's Information Desk at the cruiseship dock this week, I saw a couple off the boat with T-shirts that said "2008 Kidney Walk - National Kidney Foundation"  Of course, I had to introduce myself as a dialysis patient, and found out the lady is a dialysis nurse in Colorado.  I gave her the info for our website and am hoping to see her online some time.
One thing she said that was noteworthy - no one asked them anything about the t-shirts they were wearing.

They need a "I Hate Dialysis" T-Shirt if they want attention.

Come to think of it, I've never been asked when I have mine on.  Although it is a huge thing here in San Antonio, maybe everyone knowas what it is already.  Hopefully.  Hope we see her here, my patients and staff have all been looking.
