Well hello everyone, my name is Amanda and I am 22.  :waving; I have had kidney problems for 9 years now. I found out when I was 14 that my kidneys were giving out.  I later found out it is because I have lupos.  I have fought it for a very long time but it looks like I won't be able to avoid dialysis for to much longer, and I wanted to get to know as much as I can about it that I can before I start.  And I can't think of a better way to do that then to talk to people who are going through it.  Kinda scares me, but I have been through a lot so far, so I am hoping it won't be as bad as I am thinking.  I also found out Christmas Eve that my fathers kidneys are gone, the doctors have no clue why.  He actually is going in on monday to get preped for dialysis.  So even though I have been sick for a very long time and I have know that this is where I would end up someday. It seems like dialysis has jumped into my life full force.  And sadly to say into my fathers.  I know I am as as ready as I can get for all of this, but it brakes my heart to see my father having to go through it aswell.  Well that is me, thanks everyone.
