Rob showing off his pot of gold!

« on: December 01, 2008, 08:53:17 AM »

I didn't head out for Black Friday (first time in years), but did want to jump on any deals for Cyber Monday.  I got a great deal on some stuff for my son.  He wants a Millenium Falcon from Santa.  I found one for an awesome price, plus it came with a bonus item.  Best deal I have seen and I've been pricing them for months!  I also got a great deal on Leapster for my nephew.  They normally got for $50 and I found one for under $30, woohoo!

Anyone get some great deals?

This is where I laugh evilly and say "Ha Ha Ha!  I'm done with my shopping!"  Actually, I have one more thing to get at JoAnn's, but I'm patiently waiting for my next flyer, since it always comes with a 40% off coupon for one regular priced item.  I need to get bendy clay for my nephew, then I can quit looking and stay out of stores completely until after Christmas!

The only thing I bought on-line was the 2 bottles of wine for gifts.  I already had it safely tucked away with the rest of the presents when the company sent me an e-mail saying they were doing a buy one bottle of wine, get the second for a penny sale for Black Friday.  Phooey!  So no cyber monday deals for me.

I didn't realize there was such a thing as cyber Monday, and I was ordering stuff over the weekend.  Still got some good deals and free shipping at a couple of places.
