Every center has a different policy. Things to find out -
Will they train you to do it alone or do you need a partner? Can you train more than one partner? Will your partner need to be there for every training session, or only some of them?
How long will they insist on training you? NxStage thinks 2 to 3 weeks is sufficient, but some centers drag it out to 6 or 8.
Will they support a 5 day schedule, or will they insist on 6?
How do they plan to deal with blood testing? Will they be paying to have the blood mailed to a lab, or will you need to deliver it? How often will they want blood testing? Once a week, bi-weekly, once a month?
What equipment will they supply? Some centers cover nothing, not even the centrifuge for blood work, others have even covered a recliner.
