Well today was Robert's last day at my dialysis unit.

I go to a new unit that opened a little over 2 years ago, there is 20 of us that go there....

Robert is one of us,  when I first started back in 2006 in May, I thought I would be the first person in our new unit to get a transplant, I was wrong...  today was Roberts last day, he is heading to Halifax Wednesday to get a transplant on Thursday.  Robert is in his early 50's I am thinking and a sweety, he is one of my favs ( I call him ma boyfriend)

Today when he was saying his good-byes we were all crying, me , the nurses and even Robert.  He said to me... Kim I wish you were coming with me... even in HIS moment, Robert thinks of others...

If you think of it this Thursday, please say a prayer for my boyfriend... Robert.

I'm so happy for everyone willing to take the chance, to get the second chance.  (does that make sense?)
