Living donor kidney transplants are evolving and you may find these recent presentations to be informative.
The first is a presentation "Challenges of Live Donor Exchange" from UCLA and is online here:
http://www.ashi-hla.org/2010/pdfs/handouts/workshop5_challenges_live_donor_exchange_zhang.pdf
The second presentation is a file called: "Facilitating Living Donor Transplants" from the National Kidney Registry and the link is here: https://docs.google.com/present/edit?id=0AT7hmIHjoNajZGhicHBiaHhfMGYzZGs3cWZt&hl=en
