I went to the homeowner’s association meeting for my townhouse community tonight. The association is talking about involving lawers to collect from three people who are way behind in their dues. The worst offender was at the meeting. He hasn’t paid his dues since 2006. We don’t really have a functional board right now, so we were talking about who is going to fill which role (President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary). Finally, the roles were all decided except for the Treasurer. Someone turned to the delinquint guy and asked how he is with finances / would he be interested in being the Treasurer.
The woman who said this told me later that she didn't know who she was talking to.
