I had my very first manicure today! I had bitten my nails up until a lil while ago and suddenly had an aversion to it for some reason lol. I love how my nails look! I chose a simple LIGHT LIGHT pink that is almost white. It is called Your Royal Shyness lol. I will definitely be getting manicures once a month or so now!

I usually do my own manicure, but I love having a pedicure, especially the massage part!
I bet your hands look great Karen, that's cool that you quit biting! Some people cannot stop.

I love pedicures especially too and usually do my own manis but where I go has a really good deal if you get them both together and they work on hands and feet at the same time.  In my next life I'm being a dog so people can pet and pamper me all day.  Just hope I don't come back as a stray.

Hey, y'all will get a laugh out of this.  My husband, the guitar player, has his nails done on a regular basis.  He has acrylic nails, which help him fingerpick the guitar strings.  The local ladies just love him...

And he started something -- a bunch of guitar players we know now get acrylic nails.  :rofl;  Of course, they only get the nails on the right hand done, unless they are lefties.

I, on the other hand, have had only one manicure in my entire life.

When I was pregnant with my son, I got manicures about twice a month...my nails looked GREAT!! I don't bother now, they're long, but just natural. I sure miss those massages.
