I have just learned something very interesting today i didnt know before which might be of use to some of you . This dinnertime when the doctor came she did my b.p. which was 124/82 ..the 82 being extremely low for me , im usually 120 ish ( i know, i know!) but she said it could be because i have this virus and am possibly dehydrated , i was showing signs of cramps in my hands and feet.
Anyway after my t-time dialysis is went to check my b.p. again (still getting crampy hands and feet!) and my Diastolic ( the bottom one) was reading 135 !!!!!OMG! So i rang the renal unit and it seems that dehydration can not also cause your b.p to drop , but to go exceedingly high ! I have always been told fluid overload = high b.p.. No one has ever told me dehydration can do the same , so i just wanted to let you all know this. The outcome ..DRINK.. wow! i can drink , what a fantastic solution !
Bet you im fluid overloaded tommorrow
