Going through life tied to a chair!

« on: September 13, 2007, 04:59:21 PM »

ExSept is an Antiseptic for the skin or wounds like around your catheter.  I begged my center for a bottle that was almost empty when I had my catheter so I could clean it at home if I needed to.

With my arm all stapled up from the fistula revision I need some more and they won't give me any (cheep Bastards)!  I've gone online and called the Manufacturer (Alcavis) and they won't sell me a bottle or a case because I'm not a Medical facility.

WTF!   :banghead;

I think I'll just take one at the center and leave a $20.

I found this supplier - but I guess maybe it's the one you found? http://www.metromedicalonline.com/980210000132.html
If you have trouble ordering it let me know and I will ask my pharmacy to order it.

Karol you're the BOMB!

I did not have that site and I just ordered a bottle.  $20    :yahoo;   You would think it was $100 the way DaVita holds on to it.

Thank you SO much!  I can get some sleep tonight!

Thanks Angela but you better keep them.  ExSept is great stuff for any cut or wound.

I was realllllly lucky to have the techs I did when I was in center.

They'd always slip me some tegaderms, or except or whatever I needed.   I used to have to pull around to the back of the unit in my car and they'd run it out for me. Thinking back now, that sounds so ridiculous, but they saved me a lot of money!!  :bow;
