Husband goes to "committee" tomorrow at noon!

I must say that when I didn't receive a call from my coordinator last week before leaving out-of-town I truly believed he was bumped.  I told her not to call me before my vacation if it was bad news, as I really needed to enjoy this cruise.

I went in today for labs and ran into my coordinator and she asked how my vacation was.  After a very brief "Good, Thanks" I already had tears in my eyes.  She then said "Your husband's going to committee tomorrow, so we'll have our answer then.  I'll call him when the meeting is over".  You could have knocked me over with a feather.  I spent the majority of my cruise looking out over the gorgeous, deep blue ocean talking myself into dialysis; telling myself over and over that it is better than the alternative if I can't transplant now.  I came home having had accepted that fact.  Now I'm back in limbo!  Man, this process is a never ending pain in the arse!!!    :banghead;    ;)

Yes, the process is a pain in the ass.  But you are one step closer to knowing an answer!

Kelly,
I am so sorry. I know first hand the deep sadness that each of these disappointments bring. It's horrible.
Sending you lots of love. Don't give up hope.
