Putt Putt was a black cat I had for 20 years     she looked just like your Nanny
now I have had Slugger for 13 - 14 years and she looks just like Nanny but Slugger has no tail
Putt Putt died and I felt her last heart beat
I could not go down the cat food section in Krogers for a very long time
I never understood why people would have a black cat until I got to know my sister's cat ( long time ago)
now black cats rule
I hope all is better for you.

We still miss her around here. I think our Siamese still looks for her to play with her.
