There was a topic earlier this year about what you're going to spend your tax refund on.  On a warm Wednesday evening I wandered down to downtown Santa Rosa to Revolution Moto and applied for financing believing full well I would be turned down.  I've spent the last five years repairing my credit and paying bills on time, but I still had my doubts.

Ten minutes later I was approved for my new baby: an Aprilia Scarabeo 100 4T

I'd insert a photo here but haven't quite figured out what do once you push the Insert Image button.

I named her Rita after the famous actress.  She's Cherry Red with enough power to go up to 60mpg is necessary.  It take a few hundred miles to break a scooter in and during that time your mileage goes up considerably.  Right now I'm at 65-70mpg.

I'd insert a photo here but haven't quite figured out what do once you push the Insert Image button.

After you hit "Insert Image" you click on "browse" to view photos stored on your computer. Select one and type your message - then hit "post." Viola!

Before you hit "insert image" type something.  Anything....... "here she is.."   For some reason you (or I) can't insert just an image.  I have to type something.

According to the specifications I read online, it has a 2.11 gallon tank, which equals to almost $8.00 for a full tank. At 65 to 70 mpg, that's way cheap and envious compared to a 22 gallon truck.
Is this the color?

Thanks for adding the photo Chris.  That's actually the one I was going to add if I knew what the hell I was doing.

I've discovered that it is actually a 2 LITER tank.  Which is equal to about 1.04 gallons.  I discovered this when filling up and wondering why it would only take a little over a gallon of gas to fill up.  I ended up spilling a little but thankfully they had paper towels at Arco.

I'm coming up on week one of parking the truck and I couldn't be happier.  There's no interest on the financing for the next six months, so I'll be broke during that period, but I don't care.

I take the Motorcycle Training Course the last weekend of the month with a scooter friend at work, so that will be fun and educational.

It's been a long four years on Dialysis and I have no regret in making this purchase for myself.  I believe everyone should treat themselves from time to time when they're going through what we do.

Enjoy the ride Stacy (and the gas savings).

I treated my self to a new truck and it will be paid off at this same time next year.Missed getting the high performance truck with the supercharger by only $100 extra a month :( , but then would have a harder time driving in the snow, wiping the grin off my face if caught speeding while the officer ask's "Do you know why I pulled you over?" :rofl;

There is a post, but forgot where it is at on how to post pictures. But before you even post a picture, it is best to resize your picture to a smaller size for easier page loading on the web. I'll try to find it and post the link here.

Nice scooter there. A lot better than mine (which is out of commission right now with a broken chain). Hope you have lots of fun with it.
