Gads, I cry over things that seem so insignificant relative to what you have to deal with.  I hope that tomorrow will seem a little brighter for some unexpected reason.  I'll be holding you in my thoughts.

As for me, I'll borrow this thought: "Having never experienced kidney disease, I had no idea how crucial kidney function is to the rest of the body." - KD

Kitkatz, people can be so insensitive without meaning to be and their ignorance or naivete or whatever it is doesn't make it any easier for us.  I've had this experience around the issue of not having kids and sometimes I used to say very softly  "Yes it is a great source of pain and your questions at this moment aren't making it any easier.  I know you don't MEAN to make it harder but please know that you are."  That usually produced some embarrassment but oh well...

Then again, you could just let em have it. :Kit n Stik; :Kit n Stik;

Take care sweet Kit and don't let the ignorant get to you.

I know it can be so frustrating dealing with people who don't have a clue about all the issues involving kidney disease or getting a transplant.
People are ignorant about what we have to deal with. Try not to let it get to you. They are owed no explanation from you and they obviously
don't know you very well or they wouldn't need to ask. Hang in there.

"too young to be this sick. . "  - doesn't that just make you cringe?  Hello, I'm getting older by the minute, and it's not making being sick any better!
