My husband had this last week and they gave him Cypro. This week he's doing great.
I hope you will have a quick turn-a-round and feel better soon.

I think I'm some better this evening, but I'm not nearly well yet.  I couldn't sleep again last night (it was 4 a.m. the last time I remember looking at the clock and hadn't been to sleep yet).  I think that muscle relaxer is working backwards for me -- I even got up out of the bed three times last night just to pace around and around inside the house -- that was the only way I could my legs to calm down.  Marvin has restless leg, and now I know how he feels!  Anyway, the headache has eased some, but it's still there.  I am blowing, blowing, blowing my nose every 5 minutes, so hopefully that means I'm getting some of it out.  I'm hoping I'll feel lots better tomorrow.

You all are sweeties to keep checking on me -- and Marvin said, "Thanks, Rose and willieandwinnie -- don't be surprised if I  show up on your doorstep one day begging for the attention you keep tempting me with!"  (He still gets plenty of attention from me; he just likes to get it from every direction!  He has been trying to take care of me this week-- boy, that's a change!  He said he never realized how hard it was to be a caregiver!  But, me -- I don't like being the "patient" -- I'd rather be the caregiver any day!)

petey, I hope today is the day you feel much better.  :cuddle; It's good that all that yuk is coming out of your head finally, that should start letting the headache ease up. I know what your saying about the legs, my God, the night after driving for almost 5 hours and sitting for Lord knows how long, I had the worst leg and foot cramps and I was also up pacing. I can't imagine muscle relaxers having the opposite effect. I don't think I could go through what our guys go through. Try a nice warm bath, it might help. When do you go back to see doctor? Maybe you should call and tell them what you are going through, you've got to be able to get some rest. I'll be thinking about you and really hope that you turn the corner soon. Keep us posted.  :cuddle;

Tell Marvin, since you won't let him come play with us anymore, and we can't tell him ourselves :rofl; that he better take good care of you.  :boxing; If he really feels deprived of attention, send him to me! It's hard when the caretaker needs taken care of. Len had that problem about a year ago when I was admitted to the hospital and he had to go back to the clinic for his treatments. He begged me to never let that happen again, luckely the kids stepped up to the plate and one stayed with me and the other made sure Len was taken care of. I'm with you petey, not a very good "patient" but I excel at "caregiver".

petey, please take care of yourself today and rest when those stupid pills will let you. I'll be thinking about you.  :cuddle;

Can I just say that your immune system will be out of wack now for months to come.  Antibiotics take up to 18 months to get your system back to normal.  Getting regular chiropractic keeps your body healthy and able to fight infections when they come around.  Your nervous system in housed inside your spine, and then goes to every organ in your body.  By being adjusted you get the best health, naturally.  All you are doing with these drugs is wearing your body down.  But no one wants to listen to me, so maybe I am outa here for a while.  This just gets me upset. Don't you see how one drug follows another and another?  And you still aren't any better?  Your body needs to do this with as little intervention as possible to build up strength to get past the next bout.  At least take some good probiotic now as well to build up the good antibodies that are getting wiped out.

It's one thing to be sick, another to be a sick caregiver.  Take care of yourself Petey and try not to do more than you absolutely have to do.

Big hugs and lots of healing love your way.
