I'm here.. for us.

« on: June 04, 2008, 02:53:06 PM »

Alrighty then.. Keith left Miami yesterday 6/3 early in the morning.. Made it home ok. :'(

While he was here we looked for an apartment that can hold my son (18), Keith and me.  We found a wonderful 2/2 on the 4th floor overlooking the pool.  Plenty of closet space.  :clap; We just moved this last weekend (no easy task!). :banghead;
So what did we do other than search for an apartment?

Went to the beach.  Keith didnt get sunburned but booooy oh boy did I!...  I'm peeling like mad, was in pain for days from the sunburn.  And Keith.. just a little light barely nothing peeling!.
We had dinner at a friends, sold my old car, went all over Miami (almost).  I know I'm forgetting a lot.  I'm still unpacking and really really tired.  Got him hooked on "cortaditos"  Thats a strong colada cuban coffee with some steamed milk.
Want you all to know Keith is quite the catch (pats herself on the back) cause he is such a great cook!.  (thank goodness cause i burn water!)

Now he is planning logistics and finances to get back home as soon as he can (Home being now with moi!) :yahoo;
Packing and planning.  In the meantime I'll be honest and tell you all how it's so terribly odd and lonely without him.  But it wont be for long.

He misses our balcony, the beach, the cortaditos, the apartment.. oh yeah and me *grins* :shy;

Just wanted to check in with our family (IHD) and let you know things are moving along nicely.

I need to finish unpacking and setting everything up because I believe its this weekend my son moves in.  His room is good to go and thankfully he has his own bathroom.  Ours is in our room.  So if I don't get back on in the next week, don't you all worry, just running in circles at the moment.

I miss all of you :grouphug; and once things settle down, I'll be on loads more I really miss coming here (but i needed a break from the mayhem for a moment).

hugs and kisses to every one and a big hug for Boxman (we sent him a card couple of weeks ago).

We are all so very happy for both of you.  It sounds like you have everything under control.  I know you will be happy when all three of you are under one roof.  Keep us posted! :grouphug;

Gail and Paris.. thank you both for your kind and positive words.  :thx;

The world seems to finally be going right for us after so much has gone on in our past.

Johnny (son) and Keith get along really well, both are laid back types.

Johnny's graduation from High School was this last monday.  He did it by the skin of his teeth, :Kit n Stik;
So I guess he gets to live another day. :rofl;
