I've been reading this site for a while and my boss said he didn't think it would be inappropriate for me to use this computer to join in ( yes we work at a dialysis clinic) so here I am. E.T stands for equipment tech which is what I do all day. I got curious awhile ago and found your site which I have since recommended to several friends of mine who have kidney problems or relatives on dialysis. I've got to go because I'm right in the middle of something, but thanks for having me!  :guitar:

Welcome!

I have Alport's Syndrome. My kidneys failed when I was 14 and I was on PD for five years before receiving a kidney transplant from my mother. That kidney failed in 2004 and I've been back on PD ever since. I am undergoing treatment for my high antibodies at Cedars-Sinai medical center. I had a kidney transplant on June 10, 2008. My boyfriend was the donor.
