My son's marriage is prettu much over. They've been married 5 yrs in June. She is intrested in someone else. They have a 3 yr. old son who loves them both dearly. My son pretty much has him all the time now. My heart is breaking for littlle Tyler and and my son. I'm crying as I'm typing this. Then to top it off my son called today and said he got laid off from his job of 9 yrs. Things can't get much worse for him. Here I am not working, one-legged and not able to help a whole lot. Seems like it is always something. Please remember them in your prayers.

I am here crying with you. This is not easy, by any means. My caring thoughts and prayers are with you and with him and Tyler. I am convinced of the strength of the human spirit. He will get through this. Your IHD family is with you all the way. Someday, this will just be an unpleasant memory.

OB, I am so sorry for all of you. We are going through a similar situation. My son has been married for 13 years. They started dating in high school, stayed together even though they were in different colleges hundreds of miles apart. Married after college graduation. Just about a year ago, he told me he had been holding the marraige together for a long time but couldn't do it anymore. As a family, we had no idea there were problems. They never disagreed or gave any indication that things weren't anything but perfect. They have 3 children; 10, 4 and 2. The pain of watching your child go through the seperation process is very hard. We can no longer make things better for them. We can just be there to remind them how much they are loved. My heart hurts so much for the kids. They seem to be doing ok, but I worry the most about the 10 yr old. Reading your post, well, I just wanted to cry right along with you. And then to lose his job----it is really too much to handle at one time. I'll keep all of you in my prayers. You all deserve a break. It just seems like it is one thing after another. Take care.

I am sad right there with ya. Maybe it is the night before the dawn? Hope so in his case. Pray it all turns around quickly. Especially with kids involved.

Ouch! That must really hurt. Plus losing his job on top of it all. I am wishing the best for you all. He is lucky to have a loving mother like you.
