I've recently noticed 2 very hard lumps under the skin on my left forearm. They don't hurt and they aren't red at all. I'm pretty sure they are on my vein--at least it looks like it anyway. Has anyone ever heard of this or experienced this?

No I haven't, but I'd ask my doc about it ASAP.  Just in case it's signaling a problem.  Keep us up to date when you know what it is.

I've had them sometimes, usually after an infiltration or when I had a clot. They have always gone away on their own.

I have one in my right arm that I hope to rember to tell the doc  about Tuesday when I see him. I forgot to tell him the last time and it is the vein they use in my right arm to get blood. Feels like a knot, but when you push on it, it moves to the other side without changing shape.
Get yours checked out too

It might be a benign cyst.  I have a little one in my left shoulder that I can touch and it moves back and forth.  My dermatologist said I could leave it be since it wasn't bugging me, but I'd still get it checked out.  I hate mystery bumps... >:(

Thanks for the help. I've actually had them a while. I know I said recently, but it isn't that recent. I'll keep you updated.

Well I remembered to show the doc after he gave me some other bad news about an X-Ray I forgot I had. I think he said thrombosis, but I know he said not to worry about it, it will go away in a few months. But to me it has been a few months sinc I have had it since around November of 07. Nurse said it was a cyst and nothing to worry about before I asked the doctor, but I don't trust her when she didn't even look at it or fel it. Maybe I will slide my arm in the way when they do an MRI of my back Friday and look at it myself when I pick up a copy on CD.
