I am having my 11 yr old PD catheter removed on Friday. Can anyone tell me the approximate recovery time so I can tell my work what to expect? Is it done similar to arthroscopic surgery? Thanks :santahat;

I bet you will be happy once it is gone i am sure, dont know how long the recovery time is but i am sure it wouldnt be too bad, i know we've had a couple of people on here that has had it removed so give it a little time and some answers will come shortly :)  :2thumbsup;

Did you get a transplant?  or did you have to go back to hemo?
