Does anyone watch this?

Mom (Paris)  and I were freaking out last night!  We love Brad - we thought he has been so real, honest and not afraid to make fun of this whole process and he really made us adore him last night with his decision!

In case you don't watch.  The Bachelor finale was last night, and like always it came down to two girls.  He had already met there families and last night the two girls met his.  Both girls admitted their "feelings" to him, one even said she loved him (after 3 weeks.)  The entire season he talked about how important marriage was to him and how, for him, it was a one time shot...  So when it came down to the wire and he had to choose between the two girls who to propose to - he chose neither!  He sent them both home (with lots of tears.)  I felt bad for both of the girls but I really admired Brad's (the bachelor) integrity for following what he felt was right and not just playing the game.  It definitely was the best finale The Bachelor has ever seen!

Anyone else watch?

i usually don't watch, but for some reason did this season, most of it anyway. while i admire what brad did, it shows good character. if he really had feelings for one of the women, which he said he did, i'm sure they could have continued their relationship with out a proposal. i seem to remember a previous show where the guy he wouldn't propose till he was sure. at any rate it made for an interesting ending.

It sounded like he had feelings, he just knew they wouldn't go anywhere - I kind of interpreted that into instead of becoming the joke like most of the Bachelors become (since they never end up staying together more than a few months - besides Trista and Ryan)  he decided to take control of the situation.  I just like him :)  and um....  I am available  :-*

On a side note -- when Mom, Dad and I were in Paris about two years ago we noticed filming all over the city of all these woman...  One time a bunch of girls in formal gowns on the steps of Tracadero overlooking the Eiffel Tower.  Another, much more obvious time, a man in a tux and a woman in a gown on a private river boat enjoying champagne in a hot tub.  We decided it must be for a reality dating show.  Soon after we got back home they starting airing ads for the Bachelor: Paris!  It was pretty fun watching it that season - especially that river boat date (which if I remember right, ended up being a disaster!)
