i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.

Hey Latesha and Jamar,

 :welcomesign;

Hope we can help you and support you in trying to deal with this. It breaks my heart when we as adults have to go through these problems, but a baby  :banghead; , Lil Jamar is now in my thoughts and I hope we can be there for you and help you with anything we can.

Take Care

Tamara  :grouphug; and a special lil one for Jamar  :cuddle;

This message is for Jamar only...for when he's older...

Jamar...see that ladies picture above me? Yeah, the pretty one with the big smile? Well I'm here to tell you, and you can trust me, that yes, that is a big bag of pee she's holding. Someday you'll undestand why, but just take this advice...this is not an appropriate show & tell item for class...take a rock or a cricket or something...you'll discover that it's only a very select group of special people who get that giddy over a big bag of pee.

Some advice from a future friend......

It's good seeing you here on IHD Latisha.  It was great meeting you and Jamar at the clinic and having the opportunity to chat.  I'm sure we'll meet again in the near future.  Enjoy your time here with a group of really great people.
