Tell me about some "tricks of the trade", things you've discovered that makes your PD life easier that the docs and nurses never told you.  Practical things, or even impractical things.  Sometimes it's the little nuisances that become big nuisances that make life more miserable than it has to be.  What do you know now that you wish you knew when you started PD?

Dialysis is tough...I'm predialysis, but I know it is tough.  What do you do for yourselves that makes your life a bit sweeter?  How do you treat yourself after a tough day?  Do you listen to music?  Do you buy a new lipstick?  Do you get a massage?  Do you indulge just a teeny tiny bit in a "forbidden food"?  Do you have a glass of wine?  Do you treat yourself to a new book?  Do you make more time for yourself?

"Eggs are so inadequate, don't you think?  I mean, they ought to be able to become anything, but instead you always get a chicken.  Or a duck.  Or whatever they're programmed to be.  You never get anything interesting, like regret, or the middle of last week."
