Well we just seem like a traveling bunch don't we?  Paris, Aloha -- my dad should start posting under Japan or maybe Zimbabwe  ;)

Hey everyone - I am Beth, I have been reading the boards since my mom has been posting and now, since I will be in Vegas with her I thought I would let people know who I am.

I am the perfect daughter - no really -- just ask my mother!  Ha, truly though, I try to stay very involved in all that is happening with her, she is one of my greatest friends and the best mother I know of, so her health is extremely important to me.

Now, more about me...  I am 24, I have been living in Hawaii for the past year working on a Cruise Ship, The Pride of America.  It was an amazing adventure, one I hope to do again someday.  I love to travel, something I inherited from my mom and dad - and yes, Paris is one of my favorite places as well!  I am so excited about Vegas - everyone seems fabulous around here and it should be interesting to see all the "lady's in waiting" with their tiaras!  (Yes, I have been reading that thread!)

This place has been amazing for mom - a real haven and I just wanted to thank everyone for that.

-Aloha!

Aloha Beth, Welcome to ihatedialysis.com,

Just remember you need  100 posts to be able to be on the Ladies side, but until then you can be on the men's side and as a measure of good faith I have sent you a $1000.00 gift card for Harrods.

Seriously though I'm glad to see you join IHD, family support is by far the best coping method for anyone faced with a major health condition. Just knowing that you are a phone call away has to be comforting to your Mom when she has a bad day.

Enjoy your time at IHD, read and Post often.

Thanks for the sweet words!

Just knowing that you are a phone call away has to be comforting to your Mom when she has a bad day.

I am sure my mom wished I was just a phone call away some days, but at the moment I am just a yell across the hall away.  Since I have moved home from Hawaii a couple months back, I have been staying with my parents :)

Excellent, but my preferred slosh is definitely Jello.  The pudding kind...  With the little Carmel stripe!
