Well since today ended up being a pajama day  :puke;, I have been online and was reading about a man got a Bone Marrow Transplant, and 20 months later the doctors can no longer find HIV in his body. The man was being treated for Leukemia as well. This is kind of exciting if it leads to a cure for AIDS.

That sounds promising and makes sense cause you putting in new wbc formation, however if there are any HIV still present, that remaining virus could still infect the new T cell
lymphocytes. Stem cells could do similar increases in T cells ( they make immune globulines). At the present times Doctors say they are treating HIV with anti retroviral meds and similiar
IL-2 injections in small doses ,less than 200,000 units increase T cell lymphocytes. Genotype of Phenotype tests are like sensativity / resistance tests to check on any mutations to the medications for HIV.
