 Thought I would pop in to say HI. I am the caregiver of my 36 yr. old daughter, who I will call Red, who has been on dialysis for 8 !/2 yrs. She had multiple things wrong with her prior to dialysis. And since dialysis has started a multitude of more problems has popped up. But as the new problems arise I just go to my "One Day at a Time" Motto. She deals with dialysis pretty well. Loves to go see all of her friends. Mind you she does had her bad days. Her unit is a very small one and everyone is pretty much just like family. I have looked through the site and love it. It is a place where you can vent and know there are people out there in the same boat you are in and your NOT ALONE! RedsMom |

i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.
