Phew what a day yesterday was , just for those worried i wasnt  sat here posting , i was waiting for the emergency doctor ! Anyway to cut a long story short after all the checks, they are quite happy with me , but cant say for sure if it was a small heart attack or STRESS related  ..(no prizes for guessing which i think it might be!) Just to be on the safe side i have got a GTM spray now for if it happens again .So thanks guys , but you aint getting rid of me so easily !! :grouphug; to everyone !!!!

Just going to take it easy for the next few days and chill and order a takeaway tonight , yay no cooking ! Got a couple of good books and could just do with a nice cold beer  :rofl; guess  i might have to pass on that one ! But im buggered if im doing any housework or stuff like that for a few days !

that's a relief! those events can be pretty scary.
when i was in the hospital last year, one night i tried to roll over and a sudden, excruciating pain ripped through my chest. it felt like a heart attack or something, i couldn't move or breathe in without terrible pain. i called the night-nurse and they brought in a machine, an ECG I think, to check my heart, they checked my lungs too, but couldn't find a thing wrong. after a time, the pain subsided and I could relax and breathe. they still don't know what the cause was.

Phew you scared us all. I've just posted an emergency call to your first thread. I didn't realise you had posted to let us know you are OK on a new thread. I think we  kept looking for a reply from your on your first thread and when that didn't come we all got a bit worried. Anyway the main thing is that your OK.  :grouphug;

Hi Kick Start,

So glad to hear you are okay.  3 months ago I had a heart attack.  Didn't realize it until I went to the ER.
I didn't have shortness of breath or severe chest pain.  It felt more like severe heartburn, but when it traveled down
my arm I said to my boyfriend I think I need to go to the hospital. He was mad because the Red Sox were on and
made me get the game on in the car on the radio.   :lol;  He didn't realize I was having a heart attack either.   So, after waiting
20 minutes to register with the triage nurse, they finally brang me in and did an EKG which showed I was having an accute heart attack.
They sent me to a major hospital downtown to have an angioplasty right away. 4 days later I was back to my old self.

I'm so glad you're doing better!   Take it easy girl!
