In da House.

« on: July 11, 2007, 09:59:48 AM »

Posted about my problems where i live on here before and how i am trying to get moved. Well things have gone from bad to worse! Now i cant go out ..great! A few days ago my neighbour got burgled and guess what .its was the same people that cause the problems. Trouble is now i cant go out , cause they are sat out front all day and most of the night, so its obvious when i am not here. I dare not risk leaving the house empty, i am so fed up. I have explained to the people that are dealing with my move , but tbh they are not that interested because its nothing to do with my medical condition, even though i am living on my nerves. I am going to tell the hospital when my next appt is due , that i wont be going and why i wont be going , lets see what they say !

I'm not sure I understand the problem... is it the noisy people who were burgled that are hanging outside YOUR house now???

Can't you call the Police to move them on as they are causing a noise problem or nuicense or loitering or SOMETHING?

Or have I read this wrong?

No RM its the people that are causing all the trouble, one of them (just a friend of theirs , he doesnt live there) has robbed the lady a few houses away from me. The police cant so anything because they are not committing any crime. What they do is all sit about out front , drinking in their front garden.But they can also see who goes out (so know whose house is empty for a while) The police cant do anything to stop them sitting about out front and watching, they have to wait till you  have been robbed!

I'm so sorry that you are having such problems with these scumbags. Was there a police investigation into the robbery of your neighbour and if so have they got any evidence so that he can be charged? In what area of the UK do you live? If you live in the Manchester Area of England I'm more than willing to try and help. Geez that came out wrong! What I meant was no matter where you live if I can help I will do but the Manchester area is the  most accessible for me.
Take care :grouphug;

Thanks Ken , police where notified of robbery . At the moment i am on a large housing estate , so word gets around , the lady that was robbed soon found out who it was ,because she has lived on this estate a long time. Like i said no one can do anything while they are just hanging about drinking and sitting out front. I am hoping when i dont turn up for my next appt at hospital in a couple of weeks , and tell them why , they will put the pressure on , to get me moved. I have stressed i have lots of dialysis equipment in the house , which could either possibly be ruined or contaminated if they decided to rob me! Seems they are more concerned about that , than anything. Thing is with the housing , i wont be taking a house away from anyone waiting urgently , as i will be leaving this one empty , i just dont get what the problem is with them doing it sooner rather that later ? Thanks ever so much for your offer of help , its really appreciated !

Kickstart have you tried telling your story to your local newspaper? Maybe they would challenge the council on your behalf and get things moving a bit quicker.
