anybody else notice all the weird names of the 'new members' these daze?
names like 'cialisvssviagra' and other nonsensical monikers.
its really an auto-spam program that registers on sites and proceeds to automatically post spam. totally useless messages that are just designed to annoy and use up band-width.
congrats to this site for having a program that doesn't let them in the front door!
 

i've seen some other message boards just littered into extinction because of it.

Even though it says latest member does not mean they are a member. It means that they have applied for membership. An Administrator has to approve them before they can be an actual member. There are a lot of spammers out there and that is one of the things your Admins do over and above what you see. There are sites everyday that close down due to being over spammed.
