WOO HOO NEW KIDNEY PEEING !!!(Transplant 23/10/07)

« on: June 20, 2007, 12:56:03 AM »

Some stupid bitch who came off dialysis in a frazzle this morning must have left the gate unlatched. I came home from work late today, and Allan asks me where is Woofa. I say I don't know, and then he tells me he's not here. So in a complete state I ring the lost dogs home and local council. No luck at lost dogs home, ring the council and the ranger was about to pick him up from a house 2 streets away. This is a street we have friends in and Woofa gets walked in that street alot. He was at a house a couple of houses up from our friends. How lucky am I , or depending how stupid am I for leaving the gate unlatched. So within five minutes from finding out he was lost and me being totally stressed out he was found. I am still shaking.
He was tied to her fence in her front yard, but he had enough movement to get to her security door to scratch it to say that he wanted to come in, thats what he does at our place. She says he has been doing it all day.So I said my thank you's to the old lady that found him, and brought Woofa home. You should have seen how excited the poor boy was when he came home. Jumping on and off the couch, racing around the house! Once I got Woofa settled at home with a bone, I went and bought my hero, Barbara some flowers and chocolates.
What a bloody day !
I'm still freaking out!
but I'm Happy to be freaking out as long as my Baby Boy Woofa is beside me curled up on the couch, and hey somebody will be double checking things when she leaves home now!

Glad he was alright and that your neighbor was nice enough to keep Woofa out of harms way. Betcha the frazzled one won't let that happen again anytime soon :lol;

I am very glad you have your dog back but I am confused......you said the dog went missing from your house but then someone left the latch open at the dialysis center?
