Me with Baron von Fresenius

« on: May 21, 2007, 02:45:58 PM »

I just had my first day of training for the NxStage. Other than having more problems with my graft, which had nothing to do with the dialysis, it went perfectly. I didn't actually do anything yet, but I will tomorrow. The two training nurses just showed me everything for setting up the machine, putting myself on, doing my treatment records, and taking myself off. They also showed me how to start a batch on the Pureflow. I can definitely tell that getting that little white machine will be the best thing that's happened to me since this started. It's been a long, hard road, but I'm finally getting what I need. I'll keep everyone posted on how it goes. Take care.
