Hi EVERYONE!
I haven't posted since before the ol' pandemic kicked off. My hubby passed on in January 2020 (couldn't recover from anesthesia for a minor test procedure). I have been adjusting and trying to reinvent my day-to-day in isolation. I still have my Protein-Phosphorus Ratio website up, and folks do find it out there, so I reckon it's still worth keeping up (I just won't have anything new to add to it).
I hope everyone has navigated the chaos of the last 18 months OK. I try to imagine just how tiring the pandemic has been for the patients, caregivers and medical folks trying to keep up with dialysis.
Last month, I started electrically grounding myself (aka Earthing) to help with my own energy and recovery from yardwork and then spent time reading up on it, watching the Earthing documentary, etc. I wish, wish, wish I had learned of this years ago because it could/would have been a big boost to my hubby's health. It's so ironic to me that when a person gets sick (bedridden especially), opportunities to get electrically grounded become so scant - yet it's such a vital 'nutrient'. Anyway, I got a couple grounding pads and am surprised and pleased with the results so far. I didn't even realize that my own circulation wasn't great until about 2 weeks in and I noticed my toes had turned a healthy, happy pink and become flexible again. Yea! (such a little thing, but it really made me happy
).
Anyway, I saw several visits had happened on my 'PPR Banana Muffins' recipe page yesterday and it made me think of y'all - I just wanted to say HI! and I hope things are going OK.
