I read some articles that a pandemic happens every 100 years. During the 1620 and 1720, there were plagues. In 1820, there was cholera, and in 1920, there was Spanish influenza. Although, this has been debunked, it still is mind boggling. What are your thoughts on this?

If information is confirmed as accurate, is it referred to as being "bunked"?

Well, considering that the Spanish Flu was 1918, your theory is slightly flawed ;D

Hello Hereware ... and ...  I would not be too sure whether there is some "mystery" involved about people suffering with pandemics "happening every hundred years", because there were many more pandemics happening "in between" over the centuries like Malaria, The Plague of Justinian (caused by bacterium Yersinia pestis), Black Death, Tuberculosis, Polio, HIV/AIDS which, according to the World-Health-Organisation affects currently over 36.7 million people world-wide ...

But, nevertheless, these days Covid19 is indeed very concerning and all we can do is just try our very best to  make sure to avoid "getting it" as much as is humanly possible... :grouphug;

You are right. There are more horrible things happening every day, so linking this to some mystery is somewhat shallow. Covid19 is just a reminder of the things we should be mindful about, like our hygiene and health.

I've also read about this. I think the past is all connected to what we're experiencing right now. Coincidence or not, I think this will happen over and over.
