I do love reading your posts, UT!

I'm astonished by the seemingly cavalier attitude to covid AND to the chance of rejection should one become infected.  Having to lower immunosuppression dosages is no small thing.  That's really baffling.

It sounds like both you and your husband have had enough WTF moments over the past few days to last you through to the end of 2020, but, well, it IS still 2020.  I apologize, but I'm not entirely clear what happened to your husband's back.  Perhaps you posted about it but I've just forgotten.  Did he have an accident?  Does he have an actual diagnosis?

Edited:  Oh, OK, I looked back through your posts and saw your reference to "fractures in his back".  Yikes!  What happened?

Yes, exactly, cavalier is the appropriate word! I am baffled by it too. The attitude shook me to the core in that the care my coordinator expressed over Covid did not match that of the physician. Rejection is a damn big deal. I don't want to think about it because I'll start to rant again. My husband said maybe the doctor is on the verge of a third divorce so maybe he was crabby that day.  ::)

As for my husband, he has been given three diagnoses: muscle spasm, pinched nerve and fractures. He had two x-rays and three different doctors have come up with these "diagnoses." Does he know for sure which one is correct? Nope, but he has to have a teleconference with his GP this week. In regard to what happened, he helped some guys move furniture. He and another guy had to move a heavy cabinet down three flights of stairs. The guy on one end lost his footing, dropped his end, and the cabinet knocked my husband down. He landed on his back and had to get out of the way of the cabinet that kept moving anyway. At the time, he felt bad pain, but he got up and finished up what he had to do. He managed to do a day of work too before (I guess?) the movement caught up with him and the pain came.

They gave him enough NSAIDs to knock out an elephant. He's so funny now because he's like, "I hope my kidneys are okay!"
