It seems peculiar and yet amazing! A couple of days ago I returned here after a long time to state my confusion over if getting the transplant or not, all I got was the best and most positive feedback, and today at the earliest hours, I got the call!  I'm programmed for the surgery later today.

Now I no longer have to worry about dating issues and bachelor's life on dialysis, let the Bulgarian, Russian and Brazilian ladies come on!    Jokes aside... I'm really happy that this door has opened. As a man still young, I'm excited about recovering a much higher grade of independence on every single sense.

Please wish me luck!

Great news.   I hope your surgical pain is as minor as mine was.  The lack of pain was quite a surprise.

Hello Caton, sorry about the false alarm ... but at the same time it is very good news because it shows clearly that you are on top of the list ...
Same happened to me and not long after my real call came along.
I wish you good luck and all the best wishes from Kristina. :grouphug;

I missed the false alarm when I sent my reply.  I was #6 on the list when I called - 4 flunked the final compatibility check and one was sick.  Just be ready for the next call.
