IIRC recent news article on a study of those plastic bottles of water on sale everywhere, and the amount of micro plastic fibers found in them.

What are these micro plastic fibers doing to our health?

It sure is NOT a natural substance, and cannot be good.

How soon will they prove these micro fibers in ALL plastic bottles foodstuffs?

Then how long before legislation begins to ban plastic bottles?

Not soon enough.

Wife is very tired of hearing me rant about the benefits of glass products vs plastic.

Local Mexi-Restaurant has bottled Coke. 11 y.o. Grandson ordered Coke in a bottle, they brought him a glass then realised their error and brought him a glass bottle.  He noticed the difference in taste immediately.

Plastic is already in the food chain via fish, after it's broken down they eat it along with the plankton.
It cant be good for anyone's health. Just having an artificial hip and sepsis I know inorganic substances are not good at fighting bacteria and it tends to cluster on, in and around it.

I wonder if that bottled Coke was made in Mexico, they use sugar instead of corn syrup. It tastes a whole lot better!
The US has such a large corn surplus they started making anything they could out of is and thus came corn syrup, it's cheap they practically give it away.

When you are in a "don't drink the water" country, always order your drinks in bottles and return them if the factory seal is broken.

It is not unheard of for hotels and restaurants to refill bottled water from the tap.
